JESSIE KARP
PROJECT MANAGER
Jessie Karp brings the logical thinking and structure of an engineer to the role of Project Manager at Blue Hippo. With a degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, she found a passion applying that training to managing projects in the amusement industry. At Blue Hippo, Jessie is responsible for effectively and proficiently managing our clients’ projects on a day-to-day basis.
Since 2014, Jessie has managed various national and international amusement industry projects including roller coasters, amusement rides, scenic show sets, static figures, and mockup development. Her knowledge of the design-build process of amusement parks allows her to effectively manage and plan a project that meets budget and schedule, while exceeding expectations. Jessie also directly manages client communications, safety, quality, fabrication, and installation.
In addition to her engineering degree, Jessie is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and successfully completed the OSHA 30 Hour program.
